Charity gala dinners returns this year

The inaugural North Lincolnshire Ambassador’s charity gala, which took place in October 2019 helped raised almost £12,000 for Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Following this success, it will be returning again this year

The event, organised by the North Lincolnshire Ambassador Programme, was designed to bring together business leaders to celebrate their collective successes and to raise money for Lindsey Lodge Hospice – the Mayor of North Lincolnshire Cllr Jonathan Evison’s Charity of the Year.

More than 200 business leaders attended the event at Forest Pines on Thursday 10 October – raising money through sponsorship, table sales, and donations together with charity casino tables.

Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Cllr Jonathan Evison, said:

“It was an incredible evening, there was business being done in the room, new connections being made and the positivity in the room was palpable.

“For too long North Lincolnshire has punched below its weight but now people are starting to sit up and take note. It is a great place to be, to live, to invest, to work, and to enjoy and by bringing together the key business leaders to be able to celebrate this success is really important.

“To be able to do this and raise so much money for Lindsey Lodge Hospice is incredible – it shows the generosity of the business community and their understanding of their role not just to increase profits but as an essential part of the community of North Lincolnshire – enabling communities to flourish is everyone’s business.”

The black tie event is returning for a second year, taking place on Thursday 15 October at DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or attending the event please contact us on 01724 297330 or businessinfo@northlincs.gov.uk
