UKSPF Business Growth Capital Grant

North Lincolnshire Council has just launched a new UKSPF Business Growth Capital Grant for local SME's located in North Lincolnshire that have been trading for over 12 months. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocation is fully committed.

The grant will help businesses future-proof their operations by investing in equipment, plant, digital systems, and energy-efficiency measures that strengthen long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

The scheme is intended for businesses with projects that are ready to start immediately upon receiving an offer letter. Funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocation is fully committed. Funding may be used for:

  • New plant, machinery, and equipment to expand capacity or improve quality.
  • Introduction of new technologies or processes to improve productivity.
  • Diversification of production into new or additional products or services.
  • Energy-saving and low-carbon measures, such as solar panels, heat pumps, or energy-efficient machinery.

Minimum project value: £5,000

  • Grant: £2,500
  • Business contribution: £2,500

Maximum grant available: £5,000

  • This typically supports projects up to £10,000 total cost (50% grant, 50% match funding).
  • Businesses may choose to invest more than £10,000, but the maximum grant contribution remains capped at £5,000.

Upon approval, projects need to be completed and claims submitted, within 30 working days of the offer date.
