Start-up Support Helps Winterton Skincare Business Get Established

A Winterton-based skincare business has received support from North Lincolnshire Council’s Business Support Team to help establish and promote its services.

The Edit Skin by Amy is a home-based business providing skin treatments and personalised skincare services. Amy received a £500 Business Start-Up Grant, which she used towards leaflets, business cards and other marketing materials to raise awareness of the business and reach potential customers.

Members of the council’s Business Support Team recently visited Amy at her treatment space in Winterton to learn more about the progress she has made since receiving the grant.

Amy explained that the business advice and guidance she received, including help with the grant application and paperwork made the process easier to understand and navigate.

North Lincolnshire Council’s start-up support provides new and early-stage businesses with practical advice and guidance. Where funding is available, eligible businesses may also be able to access financial support towards some of the costs of getting established.
